Cost $250 + text and Certification Test Oct 6 National Restaurant Association Education Foundation certification sanitation training for food service workers.
The course provides knowledge and skills to prevent food, alcohol, and safety related incidents, improve food service operations, and reduce risk and incidence of food borne illness incidents. Certification testing is conducted at the end of the class.
Principles of Cooking and Nutrition

30 hours

Mondays

5 to 8 PM

Cost $300 (includes materials) Sept 20 Basic course on meal planning, food preparation and nutrition including basic cooking methods for a variety of dishes and baked goods, food groups, food pyramid, food selection, good dietary habits, and nutrition through the lifetime.
Personal and professional food preparation topics are covered.
The course combines classroom with hands-on kitchen experience. Students will indulge in the fruits of their labors.
Culinary Delights

The following are once monthly opportunities to test out new recipes and learn new kitchen skills.
Participant will take home their creations
All sessions meet Tuesdays   5 to 8 PM  3 Hours
Cost $35 / session (includes all materials)

September 21 - Harvest Delight
Ideas, recipes and meals created from the bounty of the garden.

October 19 – Continental Cuisine
A touch of Europe for the dinner table

November 16 – Bread Making
Sweet and yeast breads

December 13– Holiday Treats
Holiday treats for gift giving and family enjoyment.
