Cost $350 | Sept 20 | This course is designed for anyone interested in working with children as a Para-educator or teachers aide. The class provides and introduction to the field and covers the roles and responsibilities of the Para-educator in special education, how services are provided, the characteristics of youth with disabilities, the continuum of services, collaborative teamwork, inclusion education, implementing instruction, instructional strategies and supporting students with challenging behaviors. Students entering the Para-educator field will need to continue their education through CCV. |
