This basic course introduces four types of welding: AC/DC stick, Metal Inert Gas (MIG), Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG), and Oxygen-Acetylene. Students learn to demonstrate proficience in horizontal and vertical applications. Oxy-acetylene plasma cutting will also be covered. Instructor: David Albright |

Welding Technology II is designed as a next step for those who have taken the Welding I class and/or have equivalent experience. Students work on skills specific to their interest or need. MIG, TIG, ARC and Oxy-acetylene processes on various materials and stock configurations are covered. This course prepares students for American Welding Society Certification testing.
